Mission

According to its constitution, the mission of the Laboratory is:

To study, research and further deepen into Criminological Sciences, such as: Sociology of Crime or General Criminology; Anti-Crime Policy; Forensic Science; Penitentiary Science; Victimology; Juvenile Justice; and Forensic Psychology;
To cover the teaching and research needs of the Law students of both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of Criminological Sciences;
To conduct surveys and carry out research programs;
To organize scientific conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops, colloquia and other scientific events; and
To have any form of collaboration with other academic institutions or research centers, institutes, scientific or social bodies, as long as their scientific objectives coincide or are compatible with those of the Laboratory.
